What does my friend get when I refer them?

10% off their first month, automatically applied at checkout through your link. It only applies to monthly plans and only on their first payment.

When does a referral count toward my discount?

After their second monthly payment. The first payment alone does not qualify, so the reward only exists once someone has actually stuck around.

Does the discount work with an annual plan?

No. The referral discount applies to monthly billing only, for both you and the person you refer. Annual plans already carry their own discount and the two do not stack.
