What is a client proposal template?
A client proposal template is a pre-built structure for presenting project scope, deliverables, and pricing to a client before work begins. A good template reduces the time to write each proposal from hours to minutes, ensures nothing critical is missed, and gives every proposal a consistent professional look.
Melororium's Client Proposal Template goes one step further: when the client accepts, the system creates a project in your CRM automatically. No manual handoff from sales to delivery. No copy-paste of scope into a new project board.
What the proposal contains
The template pre-fills the standard sections every client proposal needs:
**Introduction** — a brief restatement of the client's problem and why your team is the right fit. Two to three sentences maximum.
**Scope** — what's included in this engagement and, critically, what's not included. Explicit out-of-scope items prevent scope creep conversations later.
**Deliverables** — specific outputs with dates. "3 homepage concepts by June 15" rather than "homepage design."
**Pricing** — line items with description, quantity, rate, and calculated amount. Discount field (percentage or fixed). Tax percentage. Total.
**Terms** — payment schedule (standard: 50% upfront, 50% on delivery), revision rounds, and timeline.
**Next steps** — one clear instruction for the client: click Accept to start, or contact you to discuss.
Branding your proposal
The client sees your brand, not Melororium. Set your accent color, upload your logo, and choose background colors. Each public proposal page at /p/[token] looks like your company sent it.
What clients see
The public proposal page loads without login. Clients can scroll through the full proposal, download a PDF, and click Accept or Decline. Every time the page is opened, Melororium logs the view — so you know when it was read and how many times before the client responded.
The Accept flow
When the client clicks Accept, two things happen: the proposal status updates to "accepted" in your Proposals list, and a project is created automatically in your CRM with the proposal title and client linked. Your team receives a notification. No manual work required to move from signed proposal to active project.
