What is a work report matrix?
A work report matrix is a two-dimensional summary of your team's logged time. Projects run along one axis, team members along the other. Each cell shows how many hours or how much cost that person contributed to that project in the selected period.
The matrix answers a question most agencies ask every month but struggle to answer clearly: "Who worked on what, and what did it cost us?" A flat list of time entries makes you do the math yourself. The matrix does it in one view.
How the Work Report Matrix works in Melororium
The Work Reports page generates the matrix automatically from all logged time in the period you select. Pick Today, Last 7 days, This month, Last month, or a custom date range. Toggle the view between Cost (hours × rate) and Hours.
Every project row is expandable. Click a project to see every task inside it, with each team member's contribution side by side. Click any task row to see the individual sessions: who logged time, when they started and stopped, how long the session ran, and what it cost.
Six KPI cards run above the matrix: total hours, total cost, blended hourly rate (cost ÷ hours), budget burn percentage, top client by billed cost, and a daily hours trend sparkline.
Exporting the matrix
Export the entire report as a PDF for client-facing summaries or as an Excel file for your own records. The Excel export includes a Summary sheet and one sheet per project, with every individual entry dated and attributed.
Anomaly detection
The Work Reports page flags sessions over 10 hours and weekend entries. Each flag is dismissable. This keeps the data clean without requiring manual review of every row.

Yes. Use the filter button to narrow by project, team member, or both. The matrix and KPI cards update to show only the filtered data.
Each team member has an hourly rate set in Employee settings. Cost = hours logged × hourly rate. The blended rate card shows the average across all people in the selected filter.
Admins and Owners can select individual entries or entire task groups and delete them. Workers cannot delete entries.
